August 1st


In my country El Salvador, at San Salvador’s department, the first week of August we celebrate “Las Fiestas Agostinas”, that is a celebration in honor to El Divino Salvador del Mundo. The period of vacation lasts from Wednesday 1st to Tuesday 7th.

On Wednesday, my first day of vacation, I went to the cinema with my little brother Carlos and my cousin Mónica. We watched Hotel Transylvania 3, and it was great and very funny.

After that, we were very hungry, so we decided to eat something. We went to Wendy’s restaurant and ordered a delicious hamburger, potatoes fries and soda. We really enjoyed the meet.

At night, my family and I celebrated my big brother’s birthday dinner. My sister-in-law and I prepared Tacos; everybody loved the food, especially my big brother. But, we had another surprise for him, it was a delicious cake. My big brother was very happy at the end of the day and we shared a good time together.

Too Quick to Judge is a video that shows a touching story.  This story is about  a girl drawing in a park sitting on a bench. Her drawing is about a woman in a beautiful dress. Then, a boy that is going to run around the park puts his backpack on the same bench where the girl is sitting. He takes out of the backpack his phone and his headphones and starts to run. The girl continues her drawing when the guy comes back and sits on the bench to take a sip of water; he looks at the girl’s drawing and tells her that she is doing a pretty good job, but she doesn’t answer, the guy repeats it one more time but there is no answer from her. August 4th

Last Saturday, I spent the day in my grandma’s house; also there were my cousin Monica and her family. I got there on Thursday, so Saturday was my last day there, in the afternoon I had to come back home. That day in the morning my grandma prepared a very delicious breakfast. While we were taking our breakfast, my cousin and I watched a movie called “Another Story of Cinderella”; we enjoyed the movie so much because we used to watch that movie when we were younger. After we watched the movie, we helped my aunt in her store and she gave us a chocolate ice cream. Then, my cousin and I did our homework, but we were a little bit sad because I wanted to stay there one more day, but I had to come back home. It was time to come back, and my aunt was telling me not to leave her house because everybody wanted me to stay more time. But I couldn’t, because I had things to do in my house.
